Stone Cliff Inn

What a gem of a spot! The drive to get here was absolutely beautiful, and the location itself is stunning, nestled right by the river, it feels like a cozy lodge retreat. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like old friends, which made for such a warm and welcoming experience. We sat at the bar, and our bartender was an absolute joy, funny, engaging, and quick-witted. He even played along with a joke at my expense when I stepped away for a moment, which just added to the fun. I loathe Brussel sprouts. My date told him ahead of time to prank me. At the perfect moment he said, “oh yes, the Brussel sprouts will be right out “. I can’t even stand the smell of Brussel sprouts! I’m pretty sure I dropped my phone on the floor when he said that . I asked for a drink recommendation, and whatever he made was both beautiful and delicious, I didn’t even catch what was in it, but it was perfect. The service overall was fantastic. Different staff members stopped by just to check in and say hello, making sure we were having a great time, and it all felt so genuine. I already can’t wait to come back when the weather warms up so I can enjoy the patio overlooking the Clackamas River. If you haven’t been here yet, don’t miss it, we will definitely be back!

I loved everything about this place! From the drinks, to the food, to the atmosphere and surrounding area, all around 5/5 stars! I had the Peach Palmer (seasonal alcoholic drink) and it was so light and refreshing. We started with the fire roasted dip and it was so tasty, one of the few times I actually finish the appetizer. We had the rib-eye and the gnocchi for the main dishes and both were delicious and cooked perfectly. The crime brulee desert was perfect. And right across the parking lot is where they filmed some Twilight scenes which was a fun surprise! They had some hiking trails too and we found some people bouldering there. Such a great place!

This place is lovely, great service. Plenty of parking and a great view of the river. Everything was delicious and the servers were wonderful. If I truly had to nitpick anything I would say the risotto could have been cooked 30 seconds longer and the butter was broken but still tasty. Everything else is truly on point. Definitely recommend!

Delicious food! We had the steak bites (like butter), Caesar salad, pork chop and the crispy skin chicken. Everything was melt in your mouth goodness. The cocktails were yummy as well. Not overly expensive either. The server was efficient and friendly. We sat on the patio with a view, it was a little chilly but we’re looking forward to coming back when it’s warmer. We asked about moving inside, the server was gracious about it but we didn’t want to be a pain. You really can’t go wrong with this place.

Great place to eat, the cherry BBQ half-rack of ribs are amazing. It’s a large yummy meal and the meat falls off the bone. The @Classis” cocktail with a sugar rim was delicious and the onion rings were awesome. We also shared the bread pudding (with ice cream) that was superb. It was our first time there and we weren’t disappointed.

I am obsessed with this place!!! It’s beautiful in the summer and cozy in the winter. Beautiful views, delicious steak and drinks and great for Twilight fans ...

Stone Cliff Inn is a wonderful place full of rustic charm. They decorate it beautifully for Christmas. Our server Jon is fabulous. He always provides excellent customer service and makes our dining experience the best and we greatly appreciate his positive personalty! The food is always so good. The cream of mushroom soup is divine. I would highly recommend Stone Cliff Inn.

Absolutely beautiful location. The service at the restaurant was great and the food was delicious. My sister and I asked to split two items and they split the meals in the kitchen for us which was much appreciated. Would come here again in a heartbeat! A bonus: a few scenes from Twilight were filmed here. You can walk around a few of the filming locations and take pictures of them. Nothing super fancy but fun if you’re a fan of the Twilight series.
